Paediatric First Aid Courses

1 day basic Paediatric First Aid Course.

This course is for parents, those who look after or work with infants or young children and need to know how to provide life saving First Aid and recognise childhood illnesses and conditions.

Course details - The course duration is 6 hours and is normally run at the clients venue for up to 12 students although with the use of an additional instructor we can accommodate larger classes. We also run a limited number of open courses for individuals to attend. Please call for course dates and venues.

2 day (12 hour) Paediatric First Aid Course for Childminders.

This course meets the standards for First Aid training for childminders as set by the Department for Education & Skills ( DfES ), the Ofsted Sure Start Scheme, the National Childminders Association (NCMA) and Pre-School Learning Alliance (PSLA).

The course covers Paediatric and where appropriate, adult First Aid as well as a range of common and more serious childhood illnesses and diseases.
